A Photographer, a Business Owner, and a Bench of Experts

I'm Joshua Brown. I run this practice. When a project needs more than I can do alone, I bring in friends I've worked with for years — people who are genuinely the best at what they do. You get a small team without the agency overhead.

Founder

Joshua Brown

I'm a photographer and filmmaker based in Newburgh, New York. I've shot over 500 weddings at more than 50 venues across the Hudson Valley and Catskills. I've also been running my own small business for 25 years, which is honestly the part that matters more for what I do now.

Twenty years ago I was an Apple Creative, back when the title still meant something. That early-adopter instinct never went away. Two years ago I started building AI tools and automations for my own photography business: content generation, lead response systems, SEO optimization, automated workflows. It worked. My response times dropped, my organic traffic climbed, my booking rate improved. Other business owners noticed and started asking me to do the same for them.

The combination is what's rare. Most AI consultants have never run a business. Most business consultants don't know AI. Most photographers and filmmakers don't know either. I'm all three, and I sit at the nexus of consulting and content production — strategy on one side, the actual creative work on the other.

That's why my work tends to look different from what an agency would deliver. I'm not handing you a deck and disappearing. I'm the one writing the strategy, building the systems, and shooting the video. When something needs a specialist, I bring in someone I trust.

The People I Bring In

I don't pretend to be all things. When a project needs design polish, brand work, custom development, or operational hand-holding, I bring in collaborators I've worked with for years. You hire me, you get them too — at no markup, because they're working on the project, not billing through an agency.

Operations & Client Liaison

Keeps the work moving. Handles onboarding, scheduling, document collection, and the day-to-day communication that makes a small operation feel like a real one. If we're working together, you'll hear from her early — she's the bridge between you and the rest of the team, and she's the reason things actually get done on time.

Brand & Design

A former creative director and typography expert. Builds brand identities, designs print and digital systems, and pushes back on anything that looks like a template. When a client needs a real visual system — not a logo, a system — this is who I call. His work is the reason we can ship deliverables that look like they came from a real design studio.

Automation & Systems

Builds the wiring. n8n workflows, API integrations, custom automations, CRM connections, the parts that turn a Claude project into a system that actually runs. If a process can be automated, he figures out how to do it cleanly enough that your team can take over later.

Web Development

Handles WordPress, hosting, technical SEO implementation, Cloudflare, and the unglamorous side of making a website fast, stable, and findable. When a project includes website work, she builds it to my content and SEO specs.

And one more

Claude

I'm not joking. Claude (made by Anthropic) is the AI that powers everything I build for clients. It drafts content, runs the audits, responds to inquiries, writes the code, and plans the work. I treat it like a team member because that's what it is — a tireless one that doesn't need a lunch break and never forgets your brand voice.

Why a Small Team Beats an Agency Here

Agencies have project managers, account executives, junior strategists, and a rotating cast of contractors you never meet. The person you talk to in the sales meeting is rarely the person doing the work. By the time your money gets to the people actually executing, half of it has been spent on overhead.

We don't do that. The person who pitches you is the person who does the work. The collaborators I bring in are people I've worked with on real projects, not contractors picked from a roster. Nobody is learning on your dime.

You get senior-level work from a team that already knows how to work together. That's the whole pitch.
