Finance · from $5,500
The money side, run through the same system as everything else.
This is not a separate finance product bolted onto your business. Setting up the tools that track the books, save for taxes automatically, and connect an investing tool is part of Implementation (from $5,500), the full systems build.
Why the money side lives in the same system
Most of what a business runs on, inquiries, contracts, content, already moves through Claude and the tools connected to it once Implementation is built. The money almost never does. It sits in a spreadsheet nobody opens, a bookkeeper's inbox, or three different bank logins, disconnected from everything else the business runs on.
That is the same argument this whole site makes about everything else: a system nobody can see into is a system nobody trusts. Bookkeeping and savings tools get connected the same way the CRM and the ad accounts do, into accounts you own, visible in the same place as the rest of the business instead of locked behind a login only your accountant checks.
Bookkeeping that runs itself
We connect QuickBooks or Kick.co, whichever the business already runs on or whichever fits better, the same way we connect everything else, through an MCP connection Claude can read, not a login only you check once a quarter. Categorization rules get set up so a transaction lands in the right bucket automatically instead of piling up for someone to sort through later.
The point is not a fancier bookkeeping app. It is visibility: what is actually happening with the money, in plain language, in the same place as the rest of the business, instead of a report that only makes sense once a year.
Saving for taxes, automatically
Era.app is the tool behind this. It watches money as it comes in and sets a portion aside automatically, the same way a round-up or an automatic savings rule works elsewhere, so a slice of every payment is already out of reach before there is a chance to spend it.
We set up the account and automate the connection. It is a savings habit, nothing more: the set-aside does not change what is owed, and neither Era nor Upriver is calculating that number for you. What changes is timing. The money is already sitting there when taxes are due, instead of a scramble to find it every spring.

Investing, on your terms
Era also offers a model-portfolio investing tool built into the same account as the savings side, so money that is not earmarked for taxes has somewhere to go besides a checking account earning nothing.
Our part stops at the connection. We set up the account and automate the transfer rules you choose. We do not pick a portfolio, recommend an allocation, or tell you what to invest in. Those decisions, and every choice inside Era's investing tool, are yours to make.
Not your CPA, not your advisor
Upriver is not your CPA, your bookkeeper of record, or a licensed financial advisor. We set up and connect the systems. The actual financial and tax decisions are yours, made with your own accountant.
That boundary does not change based on how good the automation gets. Kick.co and QuickBooks handle categorization. Era.app handles the set-aside and the investing connection. None of that is a substitute for a professional who is licensed to advise you and accountable for that advice.
See it live
Your profit margin makes more sense beside the rest of the business than in a spreadsheet nobody opens. One report that reads your whole business at once: inquiries, bookings, calls, profit margin, and website traffic, synthesized into a single pulse with the trend against last season. Not just what lives in one tool.
